Setting Up Your WhatsApp Business Profile
Summary
Your WhatsApp Business Profile serves as your brand's official public identity across WhatsApp. Customers see your verified display name, category, profile photo, and business description whenever they open your chat or inspect your contact card.
In Wabixo, your WhatsApp Business (WABA) numbers are pre-provisioned and mapped upon purchasing the software. The WhatsApp Profile management hub in Settings provides three dedicated tools:
- Profile Details & Quality Signal Report: Inspect your public business metadata, monitor your real-time Meta Business Manager (BM) messaging tier limit, and synchronize updates from Meta with a single click.
- WhatsApp QR & Links: Generate universal Click-to-Chat direct links (
wa.me) and design custom, high-resolution printable QR Standees for retail reception and store counters. - Website Chat Widget: Configure and embed a responsive floating WhatsApp chat bubble directly onto your website to convert digital visitors into active messaging threads.
Accessing the WhatsApp Profile Settings

4. Troubleshooting & FAQs
Problem: Updates made inside Meta Business Manager do not appear in Wabixo
- Why it happens: Meta API caches profile data, so changes do not reflect instantaneously without a manual refresh.
- How to fix it: Go to Settings → Profile Details and click the Sync with Meta button. The page will reload fresh metadata directly from Meta Cloud API within seconds.
Problem: Why can I not edit my Display Name or Profile Picture directly in Wabixo?
- Why it happens: Meta enforces strict brand verification rules. WhatsApp Business display names and official avatars require direct compliance approval through Meta Business Suite to protect against impersonation.
- How to fix it: Submit your new display name or upload your new avatar within your Meta Business Manager. Once Meta reviews and approves the change, return to Wabixo and click Sync with Meta.
Problem: The website chat widget does not appear on our live website
- Why it happens: Either the widget toggle is disabled, the script tag is placed incorrectly, or website caching plugins are serving an older cached version of the page.
- How to fix it:
- Verify in Settings → Profile → Chat Widget that the Enable Website Chat Widget toggle is turned ON and you clicked Save Configuration.
- Confirm that the script tag is pasted properly inside your website HTML template.
- Purge your website cache or CDN cache (e.g., Cloudflare, WP Rocket, LiteSpeed).
Problem: What is the difference between desktop and mobile visitors using the chat widget?
- On mobile devices, clicking the widget or quick reply prompts directly launches the native WhatsApp application installed on the visitor's phone.
- On desktop computers, clicking the widget automatically opens WhatsApp Web in a new browser tab with the pre-filled prompt loaded in the composer.
